In this permanent role, you will engage with clients under the Assertive Community Treatment Model. The Community Outreach Worker focuses on providing essential support and recovery services while fostering an inclusive environment. You will utilize your critical thinking, problem-solving, and crisis management skills while working collaboratively within a professional interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop relationships with both new and existing clients
• Provide outreach services to hard-to-reach populations
• Advocate for clients in a non‑judgmental manner
• Implement the Housing First Principles and social justice approaches
• Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ community work experience
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable vehicle
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Open to discussing prior criminal records
