Position: Wellness Program Facilitator with Shawenim Abinoojii Inc.
Enhance wellness in Southeast First Nations communities with Shawenim Abinoojii Inc. as a Wellness Program Facilitator. Engage directly with children and families to promote cultural programming and community activities.

As a facilitator, you will report to the Wellness Program Supervisor and deliver targeted wellness initiatives in Care Homes.

Your role will involve developing strong partnerships with community organizations while hosting activities that address local needs and promote recreation. Planning and budget management are also part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize culturally relevant programming for participants

• Develop effective community partnerships for resource sharing

• Host responsive activities that support health and wellness

• Manage program documentation and reporting

• Evolve programming based on community feedback

Requirements:

• 2-3 years interacting with children and families

• Experience in child development and wellness

• Ability to engage diverse community members

• Valid driver’s license and background checks

• Willingness to travel to various communities

Facilitate meaningful activities that foster health and engagement among children and youth.
