Position: Support Worker for Van Outreach Program
Join Main Street Project as a Support Worker for the Van Outreach program in Winnipeg. This pivotal role focuses on engaging with individuals facing homelessness, ensuring they receive essential resources and care.

Working 0.4 FTE, you will travel throughout the community, delivering food, clothing, and medical support as part of our harm reduction efforts. Your interaction with clients will promote dignity and encourage self-worth. This position actively addresses immediate needs, particularly during extreme weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide food, shelter, and hygiene supplies

• Drive MSP’s Outreach Vans to transport clients

• Conduct wellness checks and risk assessments

• Advocate for clients in accessing services

• Keep detailed and accurate electronic records

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in human services field

• Outreach experience considered an asset

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license necessary

• Current CPR and First Aid certifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and experience with diverse populations
