Position: Counsellor for Adolescent Programs
Become an Adolescent Programs Counsellor in Winnipeg, focusing on crisis management and treatment strategies for youth with unresolved trauma. This full-time role includes flexible shifts to meet the needs of the youth.

Your role as a Counsellor will be pivotal in delivering behavioral strategies and crisis intervention techniques as part of a committed multi-disciplinary team. Collaborate closely with a network of professionals to assess and adapt treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs, contributing positively to their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to client assessments and strategy implementations

• Safely de-escalate behavioral crises when they occur

• Facilitate admission and transfer processes for clients

• Document daily events accurately for treatment consistency

• Promote programs that foster community involvement

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma in social work, psychology, or counseling

• Minimum of two years working with at-risk youth

• Required certifications in crisis intervention

• Knowledge of community youth services and resources

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
