Preventive Programming Coordinator at Sandy Bay

Lead preventive programming initiatives as a Coordinator for Sandy Bay Child & Family Services Inc. This position focuses on engaging youth via community interaction and effective programming solutions.

As the Preventive Programming Coordinator, you will work closely with community resources to address the needs of youth and their families. Duties include organizing events, documenting activities, and evaluating the effectiveness of prevention efforts. A solid foundation in social services and Microsoft Office is essential for coordinating community outreach successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a monthly prevention calendar and youth contact schedule

• Facilitate and coordinate community workshops and meetings

• Document program activities and meetings accurately

• Report on prevention project progress to the Prevention Supervisor

• Book venues and organize resources for events

Requirements:

• Higher education in Social Services or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in child services

• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

• Must hold a valid Manitoba Drivers License

• Be willing to undergo criminal and child abuse registry checks
