Make a difference in the lives of homeless youth with Larkin Street Youth Services as a Part-Time Relief Counselor in San Francisco. Engage with clients, foster goals, and ensure safety in community spaces.
In this on-call role, you’ll guide Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) aged 18-24 in achieving their personal goals. Your responsibilities involve motivating clients, modeling life skills, and maintaining a safe environment across Larkin Street's various housing programs. Collaborate with a passionate team dedicated to holistic care for homeless youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Motivate clients to achieve personal goals
• Ensure safety in community living spaces
• Conduct facility rounds and client interactions
• Assist clients with social and emotional challenges
• Support team efforts for client wellness
Requirements:
• Passion for ending youth homelessness
• Experience with TAY and diverse backgrounds
• Reliable, dependable, and personable approach
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including holidays
• Prior social services experience is a bonus
