Position: Winnipeg Community Outreach Worker Role
Become a Community Outreach Worker with Mount Carmel Clinic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where you will facilitate vital connections for individuals in need. This full-time position focuses on outreach, advocacy, and community-based recovery services.

In this role, you will actively engage clients in a respectful and culturally sensitive manner while utilizing the Assertive Community Treatment Model. Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate supportive relationships with clients

• Offer outreach services and recovery support

• Provide effective advocacy for clients' needs

• Utilize harm reduction and trauma-informed practices

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance services

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of community-related experience

• Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle

• Understanding of Indigenous cultures and issues

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Openness to discuss any past criminal records
