The Youth Addictions Counsellor role involves working closely within a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual counselling sessions tailored to youth clients

• Facilitate group sessions using the Stages of Change model

• Document client information accurately in files

• Ensure client adherence to safety rules and guidelines

• Establish supportive and trusting relationships with clients

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant field required

• 1-3 years of related experience preferred

• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

• Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check

• Knowledge of First Nations culture is an asset
