Reporting to the Senior Manager of Issues Management, you will tackle inquiries and complaints, analyze information on child deaths and serious injuries, and support families through inter-provincial disputes. You will also coordinate legal claims against Child Welfare, requiring in-depth analytical skills and strong report writing capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to public inquiries and complaints regarding child welfare
• Analyze data on child deaths and injuries, producing comprehensive reports
• Support inter-provincial matters related to child and family services
• Manage Statements of Claims against the Director of Child Welfare
• Provide Post-Adoption services to related parties
Requirements:
• Master (MSW) or Bachelor (BSW) in Social Work preferred
• Experience in child and family services system
• Knowledge of Manitoba child welfare policies and practices
• Strong analytical and conflict resolution abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and CFSIS
Utilize your social work expertise to navigate complex issues while ensuring the welfare of children in Manitoba.
