In this Float Support Worker position, you will serve in various roles across the Housing Services department. Each shift, you'll contribute by assisting in critical areas like Protective Care and Men’s Withdrawal Services while adhering to harm reduction philosophies. Your work ensures a safe and respectful environment for clients at risk.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct support duties across multiple program areas
• Deliver daily shift reports reflecting service delivery
• Ensure compliance with break coverage requirements
• Assist during peak service periods in key areas
• Participate in all Mainstay shift change meetings
Requirements:
• Education and experience in human services preferred
• Familiarity with addiction and mental health issues
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and communities
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required
