Join Main Street Project as a Casual Support Worker for the Van Outreach program in Winnipeg. This pivotal role focuses on uplifting marginalized individuals, ensuring they receive essential services during challenging conditions.

Your responsibilities include driving outreach vans, providing immediate resources to community members, and following up with individuals living in encampments. This position is integral to MSP’s mission of offering safe and supportive services while promoting harm reduction and choice among clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver food, shelter, and harm reduction supplies

• Drive and manage MSP’s outreach vehicles

• Conduct wellness checks and transport clients as needed

• Address and document emergency situations effectively

• Advocate for access to internal and external resources

Requirements:

• Relevant education and experience in human services

• Knowledge in addictions and mental health support

• Valid driver’s license Class 5

• CPR and First Aid certifications required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
