Youth Care Practitioner with Marymound

Empower at-risk youth as a Youth Care Practitioner s role involves holistic support and development strategies in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

As a Youth Care Practitioner, you'll focus on the developmental needs of children and youth. You will assess individual care plans, design engaging programs, and implement treatment interventions while collaborating with clinicians, social workers, and psychologists. Your primary goal is to facilitate growth and ensure a safe living environment for each child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate growth and development for youth

• Implement structured activities and treatment interventions

• Promote psychological and social needs awareness

• Assist in designing family-focused support structures

• Record daily events for continuity in treatment

Requirements:

• Certificate/diploma in Child & Youth Care preferred

• Experience with at-risk youth or vulnerable populations

• Must be familiar with developmental needs

• NVCI and ASIST training required

• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
