Outreach Support Mentor

Contribute to Life's Journey as a full-time Outreach Support Mentor in Winnipeg. This role involves providing direct program support while fostering participant development and ensuring effective team collaboration.

As an Outreach Support Mentor, you'll work closely with colleagues in the Outreach and Spectrum Connections programs, assisting participants in their planning and monitoring activities. You will uphold Life's Journey's operational practices and health policies while maintaining high work standards, personal management skills, and effective communication. This position is designed for individuals committed to developing others and building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to program participants daily

• Collaborate with team members, including case workers

• Ensure program requirements are met consistently

• Assist in planning and monitoring program activities

• Maintain adherence to health and safety policies

Requirements:

• Previous outreach experience required

• Two years in a related role with individuals with disabilities

• Certification in First Aid Level 1 – Emergency

• Satisfactory criminal record and abuse registry checks

• Reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance
