Outreach Support Mentor

Become an integral part of Life’s Journey Inc. as an Outreach Support Mentor in Winnipeg, MB. This full-time position involves direct support for participants in the Outreach or Spectrum Connections program.

As an Outreach Support Mentor, you will ensure program requirements are met through active planning and communication with participants. Collaborate with the Outreach Team, including mentors, case managers, and coordinators, while focusing on building positive relationships. This mentoring role demands high work standards, personal management skills, and strong professional abilities to foster a supportive environment for individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to participants in outreach programs

• Monitor and communicate about activity plans with individuals

• Collaborate effectively with team members and external contacts

• Maintain consistent program documentation and administration

• Model professional behavior and mentoring practices

Requirements:

• Previous outreach experience required

• Two years in a related role supporting individuals with disabilities

• Satisfactory background checks and valid driver's license

• Certification in First Aid Level 1 - Emergency

• Reliable vehicle and appropriate insurance
