Reporting to the Director of Family Wellness, this role requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field. Successful candidates will possess a solid understanding of alternative healing practices and First Nations Child and Family Services guidelines. Knowledge of the Kahkewistahaw culture and language is a plus that can enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide holistic support to families and individuals
• Uphold confidentiality in all interactions
• Assist in developing and implementing wellness programs
• Leverage traditional healing methods as needed
• Connect families with appropriate resources
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent
• Familiarity with First Nations healing practices
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• Three recent professional references and resume
• Up-to-date criminal records check (CPIC)
Utilize your knowledge and skills to foster wellness and support within the Kahkewistahaw First Nation community.
