Outreach Worker at Mount Carmel Clinic

Become a key part of Mount Carmel Clinic as an Outreach Worker. Support clients in a culturally sensitive manner, enhancing their skills through community-based recovery services.

This Outreach Worker role reports to the Program Manager within the Assertive Community Treatment framework. You will engage with new and existing clients, advocating and building strong relationships while delivering essential recovery services. Qualifications include a valid driver’s license and a commitment to equity and cultural responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outreach services to hard to reach populations

• Build relationships to help clients achieve their goals

• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team

• Implement trauma-informed practices and harm reduction principles

• Engage clients according to service plans on a flexible basis

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in community services

• Strong critical thinking and crisis management skills

• Proven ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats

• Understanding of Indigenous cultures and impacts of colonization

• Commitment to the values of Mount Carmel Clinic
