The Department of Families seeks skilled individuals for Child and Family Service Worker roles within Winnipeg Child and Family Services. As a case manager, you will deliver essential child protection services, coordinate support, and work with community agencies to aid families and children in need. Your responsibilities will include conducting investigations and developing effective case plans while managing complex situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct child welfare intake and abuse investigations
• Develop and implement case plans for child safety
• Work collaboratively with community agencies for support
• Manage voluntary family services and child in care cases
• Assist with after-hours services for families and children
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in social sciences (preferably BSW)
• Experience in child abuse identification and case management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Valid Manitoba Class 5F Driver’s license
