Position: Full-Time Community Outreach Worker
Join Mount Carmel Clinic as a Community Outreach Worker in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In this full-time role, you will support clients through culturally competent services, prioritizing their recovery and wellbeing.

In this permanent position, you will be part of a dedicated team under the Wiisocotatiwin program. Your focus will be on assisting hard-to-reach populations with a variety of support services that promote skill-building and goal achievement. You will utilize your experience in critical thinking and crisis management within an Assertive Community Treatment Model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with clients to facilitate recovery

• Provide outreach services to underserved communities

• Assist clients in developing skills aligned with their goals

• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care

• Effectively communicate using strong verbal and written skills

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in community services

• Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle

• Understanding of Indigenous culture and traditions

• Proven ability in decision-making and problem-solving

• Commitment to equity and cultural safety principles
