Crisis Training Assistant

Become part of the Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak as a Mobile Crisis Response Training Assistant in Winnipeg, MB. This full-time role focuses on supporting community-based crisis team training.

As part of a dedicated team, you will report to the Program Manager, collaborating closely with the Crisis Response Training Coordinator. Your responsibilities involve planning, coordinating travel to remote First Nations, and ensuring effective training delivery. Support during training workshops will also be part of your crucial role, along with maintaining strong administrative practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to remote First Nations for training support

• Assist with Train-the-Trainer sessions at Tribal Council locations

• Plan and coordinate travel aligned with training schedules

• Manage training logistics and participant inquiries

• Provide crisis counselling support during workshops

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in crisis response, administration, or logistics

• Experience as a training facilitator or counsellor

• Knowledge of First Nations healing practices

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to travel

• Current Police Security Clearance required
