Join the Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak as a Mobile Crisis Response Training Assistant in Winnipeg, MB, focusing on developing crisis response teams. This full-time role emphasizes training and logistical support.
In collaboration with the Program Manager and Crisis Response Training Coordinator, you'll be pivotal in preparing and delivering community-based training to First Nations. Your duties include planning and scheduling travel, providing support during workshops, and implementing strong logistical practices to enhance training effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate travel for crisis team development training
• Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions for First Nations
• Plan training logistics including supplies and facilities
• Prepare travel claims and budget requests for approval
• Provide emotional support to participants during training
Requirements:
• 3-5 years’ experience in crisis response or logistics
• First-hand experience delivering services in First Nations
• Knowledge of traditional and modern training techniques
• Completion of ASIST and NVCI trainings preferred
• Ability to work with vulnerable populations
