This full-time role requires on-site presence, offering mobile, residential, and non-residential crisis assistance. You will engage in safety planning, trauma counselling, and community education focused on violence against women. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver mobile and in-shelter crisis support

• Provide trauma counselling and advocacy services

• Organize community awareness events

• Conduct safety risk assessments and planning

• Facilitate support groups for emotional healing

Requirements:

• Experience in gender-based violence services

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Knowledge of York Region resources

• Excellent communication and organization skills

• Post-secondary education in relevant disciplines
