As a key member of the Family Violence and Prevention Programs team, you will utilize your Bachelor of Social Work and relevant experience to offer therapeutic interventions and group facilitation. The position demands a deep understanding of trauma-informed practices and a strong dedication to guiding clients toward positive change and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual counselling and case management services
• Facilitate groups like Caring Dads for prevention
• Develop personalized safety and support plans
• Monitor client progress and adapt care plans
• Advocate for improved client access to services
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) is required
• Minimum 2 years of supportive counselling experience
• Registration with Manitoba College of Social Workers
• Experience in group facilitation
• Knowledge of community resources and trauma-informed practices
