Support First Nations communities as a Mobile Crisis Response Training Assistant in Winnipeg, MB, with the Manitoba Keewatinowi Okimakanak. This full-time role centers on logistics and training delivery.
Working alongside the Program Manager and Crisis Response Training Coordinator, your responsibilities will entail planning and coordinating travel to various First Nations communities and assisting in training delivery. You will also provide vital emotional support during workshops, ensuring effective learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide logistical support for community-based training sessions
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating travel for training
• Ensure all training materials and arrangements are ready
• Facilitate workshops and offer crisis counselling
• Manage training budgets and expense claims
Requirements:
• 3-5 years in crisis response, administration, or logistics
• Traditional knowledge of First Nations healing practices
• Valid driver’s license and commitment to travel
• Completion of ASIST and NVCI trainings preferred
• Police Clearance and background check required
