Community Living Essex County seeks a part-time Behavioral Support Worker to provide guidance and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Your role involves developing and reviewing support plans while fostering a safe environment. Collaborate with a dedicated team to identify needs and ensure adherence to protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and support to individuals
• Develop and review support plans collaboratively
• Maintain safety and health standards in the environment
• Assist in problem-solving and identifying needs
• Ensure adherence to established protocols and strategies
Requirements:
• One-year post-secondary diploma in human services
• Six months experience with individuals with disabilities
• First Aid Certification required
• Valid Driver’s License and access to an automobile
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
