Make a meaningful impact as an Individualized Support Worker with SCE Life Works, providing essential support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. This position requires a vehicle and offers 32 hours of paid work weekly.
SCE Life Works is hiring an Individualized Support Worker for specific days of the week. Your responsibilities include assisting a gentleman in achieving his goals through work, volunteering, and recreational activities. The role focuses on enhancing health and wellness and requires a minimum class 5i driver license.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities in achieving personal goals
• Support participation in work and volunteer opportunities
• Facilitate recreational and wellness activities
• Maintain schedules and transport as needed
• Document progress and report to supervisors
Requirements:
• Valid class 5i driver license
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Reliable vehicle for transportation needs
• Commitment to enhancing community participation
• Availability to work Monday through Thursday
