You will welcome an adult into your home and create a space where they can learn life skills, build community connections, and experience independence. If you have strong communication skills and a commitment to respectful support, this role is designed for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide a caring, inclusive environment in your home
• Engage in recreational and life skills activities
• Transition between support and mentorship roles
• Collaborate with the individual's family and social network
• Empower and respect the individual's rights and choices
Requirements:
• Well-maintained home with private space
• Access to a vehicle and proximity to bus routes
• Strong English communication skills
• Commitment to cultural and community respect
• Ideally live in the South-end of Winnipeg
