Join MSP to coordinate beautification projects and foster community spirit in Winnipeg! As the Green Team Coordinator, you'll lead outdoor efforts while engaging volunteers for sustained impact.
This role, valid until March 31, 2027, involves at least 10 weekly hours and is focused on the beautification of Main Street and nearby areas. You'll develop systems to ensure cleanliness and pride in public spaces through strong community partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage litter control initiatives throughout the community
• Conduct light repairs and maintenance tasks
• Supervise indoor/outdoor garden management
• Involve community in small-scale improvement projects
• Lead and train volunteer teams effectively
Requirements:
• Youth 18-29 years, legally entitled Manitoba resident
• Volunteer experience with community organizations beneficial
• Physical ability to work outdoors and lift weight
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must pass Criminal Records Check and related vetting
