Cogir Senior Living seeks a Tenant Companion for Supportive Housing at The Waverley/Rosewood. This multi-functional position supports individuals through personal assistance, medication reminders, social activities, and daily routines. The work promotes self-esteem, engagement, and a safe, secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide cueing and assistance with personal supports and hygiene
- Offer medication reminders according to site protocol
- Maintain safe, clean, comfortable suites and common areas
- Encourage meaningful social and recreational activities
- Support meal and snack delivery in relaxed dining settings
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Relevant life or work experience; elderly care preferred
- Ability to work independently in a home setting
- English fluency in written and verbal communication
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
