Support tenants during evening hours as a Part-Time Tenant Companion, using cueing, reminders, and assistance with everyday tasks. Promote dignity, independence, and safety.
Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Tenant Companion for Supportive Housing. You will provide personal support, medication reminders, safe ambulation assistance, and supervision. The position also supports social activities, meals, tenant orientation, and comfortable shared spaces.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide cueing and assistance with hygiene and safe ambulation
- Give medication reminders according to site protocol
- Encourage meaningful social and recreational activities
- Support meals and snacks in a relaxed dining environment
- Maintain safe, clean, comfortable tenant areas
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Relevant experience caring for elderly individuals preferred
- Ability to work independently in a home setting
- English fluency in written and verbal communication
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
