Drive innovation as a Lead Android Developer at Morgan Stanley, creating and optimizing large-scale native applications in a hybrid work environment. Your expertise in Kotlin and collaborative approach will be key.
As a Software Engineering III at the Director level, you will tackle complex application challenges, implement new features, and enhance existing functionalities. This role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-quality, scalable Android solutions. You will also engage in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain native Android applications
• Implement complex features across the application stack
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and business partners
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
• Diagnose and resolve performance and reliability issues
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of Android application development experience
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin and Kotlin Coroutines
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and MVVM
• Strong skills in unit testing and UI testing frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and performance analysis tools
