QA Automation Developer

Our client in the skilled services sector is seeking a QA Automation Developer to design, build, and enhance automated testing solutions across modern web and distributed application environments.

Duration: 9 months

• Design, develop, and enhance test automation frameworks and reusable test harnesses
• Build and maintain automated test suites for UI, API, and integration layers
• Execute tests, analyze results, and provide actionable insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Contribute to test planning, including SIT strategy, test case design, and automation approach
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing
• Develop modular, scalable, and maintainable test scripts aligned with best practices
• Support exploratory testing and ensure coverage across all deliverables
• Produce and maintain test documentation using ALM tools
• Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies to improve automation practices

• 7+ years of experience in Software QA, with strong focus on test automation
• 5+ years of experience in web services testing (REST/SOAP) and web application automation
• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (Java, C#, C++, etc.)
• Strong expertise in at least two automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Test Complete)
• 3+ years of experience with SQL scripting and database validation
• 2+ years of experience testing modern architectures (Spring Boot, microservices, Docker, Rabbit

• Hands‑on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative)
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments and scripting
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive continuous improvement
