Principal Software Engineer, Productivity; Golang

We are looking for a Principal‑level engineer who is passionate about building and evolving the developer productivity ecosystem used by the entire Workflows Engineering organization.

• Collaborate with the SRE and Engineering teams to manage, extend, and enhance existing developer productivity and platform tooling for local and remote Kubernetes environments.
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines in Circle
  
  CI.
• Assist in weekly release orchestration.
• Automate and improve processes via Golang tooling and Okta Workflows.

• 10+ years of deep understanding of software engineering processes and agile framework.
• Proficiency in a compiled language such as Go.
• Experience with test development, algorithms, and data structures.
• Passionate about learning new technical ecosystems.
• Familiarity with container deployment and orchestration at scale: service discovery, deployments, monitoring, scheduling, load balancing.

• Experience with Cloud Native Technologies (Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Crossplane, Docker).
• Experience with CI/CD Systems such as Circle
  
  CI or Git Hub Actions.
• Experience with development and deployment in a hosted cloud environment, preferably AWS.

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related field.

Annual base salary range: $177,000—$265,000 CAD (Canada).
