Position: Morningstar Software Engineer in AI
Transform AI capabilities as a Software Engineer at Morningstar's AI Accelerator team in Toronto. Work in a hybrid setup to design and scale essential services for GenAI solutions.

In this innovative role, you'll focus on systems like the MCP Server and Gateway while managing the entire development lifecycle. You'll employ leading-edge AI tools, such as Git Hub Copilot, to ensure high code quality. Close collaboration with product managers and engineers will enable you to create effective solutions with a performance-driven approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance scalable services within the AI ecosystem

• Own features from initial concept to monitoring

• Collaborate with product teams for optimal user solutions

• Improve engineering practices and architecture continuously

• Write high-quality, maintainable code

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in object-oriented programming

• Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms

• Familiar with GenAI frameworks like Lang Chain

• Docker experience for deployments

• Knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically AWS
