Software Co-op: Robotics Simulation; term

Sanctuary AI–a multi award‑winning Linked In Top Startup company–is seeking a Software Co‑op student. Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, Simulation, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of design, architecture, and implementation of our simulation platform and machine learning systems that power our general‑purpose robots.

• Bring hands‑on experience working with high‑performing teams on academic group projects and/or internships
• Gain cutting edge career experience as you support development and integration of simulation tools that work with our robotics system’s cognitive platform
• Expand your engineering experience as you contribute to development and/or integration of new software components
• Achieve company‑wide visibility as you contribute to maintenance and evolution of our development and deployment tools

• Pursuing or completing a bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, testing, and operations A track record of technical excellence and successful projects
• Ability to design, implement, and test in a fast‑paced environment

• Knowledge in the fundamentals of computer science, data structures, operating systems, and networking
• Understanding and passion for physics and robotics
• Competency in writing software in languages such as Python, C/C++, or similar
• Experience with 3D simulation software and/or game/simulation engines
• Exposure to CI/CD and Cloud platforms

• Above all else, a consistently positive attitude and a willingness to do whatever it takes to create robust solutions to complex problems
• Optimistic listening and conflict resolution capabilities

Range: $1,850 - $2,650 semi‑monthly.
