In this role, you will contribute to designing and developing the foundational systems that keep customers secure and compliant. You’ll work collaboratively with product management and engineering teams to ensure features are scalable and efficiently rerouted. Your contributions will directly impact how Remitly handles identity verification across products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop backend services for fraud and compliance management

• Deliver scalable and secure software solutions

• Work with cross-functional teams on requirements

• Own features from design through to ongoing operations

• Enhance your skills through team mentorship and code reviews

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of software engineering experience

• Proven background in production backend systems

• Strong knowledge of system design and optimization

• Experience in a modern programming language

• Understanding of cloud environments, especially AWS
