As an Associate Technical Supervisor, you will work closely with the Technical Supervisor and creative teams to shape the technical vision of animated feature films. This position requires leadership in areas such as Modelling, Rigging, and Surfacing. You’ll enhance pipelines and troubleshoot technical challenges, ensuring a seamless experience for artists.
Key Responsibilities:- Support visual goals by developing productive tools and workflows
- Troubleshoot production processes to optimize artist productivity
- Manage development initiatives and adjust production schedules
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Communicate project status clearly to both technical and non-technical teams
- 5+ years of pipeline TD experience in animation or VFX
- Robust Python skills and familiarity with related tools
- Understanding of traditional production workflows and DCCs
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Git usage
- Degree in Animation, Computer Science, or related field
