Transform the finance industry as a Senior Android Engineer with Robinhood. You'll create intuitive mobile experiences that empower users in stock trading, with in-person collaboration in Menlo Park or New York City.
At Robinhood, we are on a mission to democratize finance for all. As a Senior Android Engineer on the Trading Products team, you will lead the development of high-impact mobile experiences.
Your role requires strong proficiency in Kotlin and a deep understanding of Android architecture, while collaborating closely with various teams to enhance the trading journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build stable mobile experiences using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Lead product feature development from conception to release
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions
• Implement best practices for code quality and maintainability
• Mentor junior developers to enhance team skills
Requirements:
• 6+ years of Android application development experience
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, and MVVM patterns
• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Retrofit
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
