Every mission Ctrl flies becomes geospatial data — orthomosaics, point clouds, meshes, and vector layers that clients depend on to make operational decisions.
As a Geospatial Developer you'll build the pipelines and map experiences that turn raw sensor captures into streaming, queryable, decision-ready layers across our Data Store, OODA, and Operate products.
What You’ll Do- Build processing pipelines for photogrammetry, LiDAR, and multispectral outputs at scale.
- Develop tiled map services and streaming endpoints (COG, 3D Tiles, vector tiles) for web clients.
- Implement geometry tooling — KML/SHP ingest, AOI drawing, area math, coordinate systems.
- Extend our React/Leaflet/Mapbox map layers with performant, beautiful visualizations.
- Integrate with Esri, Google Earth, and CAD export workflows clients already use.
- Own data quality: georeferencing accuracy, projection handling, and validation checks.
- 3+ years building geospatial software — GIS pipelines, web mapping, or spatial databases.
- Hands-on experience with web map stacks:
Mapbox GL, Leaflet, Map Libre, or Cesium. - Solid grounding in projections, datums, and photogrammetry/LiDAR data structures.
- Pragmatic shipping instinct — you’d rather field a working layer than perfect a spec.
- Drone or remote-sensing background an asset.
