Business Analyst

Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Potential Extension up to 24 Months)

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
  .
• Recent hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and AL extensions
  .
• Strong proficiency in AL programming language and Business Central extension development
  .
• Experience designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining Business Central applications, extensions, pages, reports, tables, code units, workflows, and APIs
  .
• Strong understanding of Business Central architecture, configuration, deployment models, and SaaS environments
  .
• Hands-on experience with Business Central integrations
  , including REST APIs, web services, API pages/queries, OData V4, JSON, XML, and integration frameworks.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 and Microsoft Entra for secure application and API integration.
• Experience integrating Business Central with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, and Microsoft 365
  .
• Strong experience with Visual Studio Code for AL development and Business Central extension development.
• Experience with RDLC reports and Word layouts for Business Central reporting.
• Experience with Git and Azure Dev Ops source control and development practices.
• Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines for Business Central development and deployments.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and database concepts

• Experience with debugging, testing, performance optimization, and troubleshooting Business Central applications.
• Experience participating in the full software development lifecycle
  , including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Experience supporting data migration and system upgrades from legacy ERP platforms or previous Dynamics versions.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical Business Central solutions while collaborating with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience with Power Platform
  , including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure cloud integrations

• Experience with Business Central upgrades and migrations
  .
• Experience with multi-company or multi-tenant Business Central deployments
  .
• Knowledge of ERP business processes including Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain, or Operations
  .
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
  .
• MB-820:
  Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer Associate certification.
• Additional Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 or Azure
  .
• Experience with code reviews, development standards, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  .
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
