Lead scalable Java solutions remotely from Canada, combining AWS architecture, full-stack development, and enterprise SaaS integrations for Ever Commerce.
As Ever Commerce’s Staff Engineer, you will connect Finance, Human Resources, Sales Operations, and CRM systems. You will translate operational needs into architectures, develop production-ready solutions, and guide delivery from discovery through deployment. The work spans Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Type Script, React, AWS, and integration platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver end-to-end enterprise software solutions
Lead architecture reviews and strengthen code quality practices
Develop Java microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems
Build internal dashboards and workflow automation tools
Mentor engineers across distributed technical teams
Requirements:
At least eight years of software engineering experience
Two years in Staff, Technical Lead, or comparable leadership
Advanced Java 17/21 and Spring Boot experience
Strong AWS cloud and serverless architecture experience
Legal eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship
