Lifeguard

Youth for Christ Winnipeg is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to serve on-site at Camp Cedarwood as a lifeguard. Camp Cedarwood is a ministry of YFC Winnipeg located at Pinawa Bay, Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba that focuses on providing youth with a camp experience that is rooted in the Gospel. A successful candidate will be passionate about helping others and using their experience, skills, and knowledge to support the ministry of YFC in changing the lives of youth.

Responsibilities include safely supporting the lifeguarding of recreational waterfront swimming and boating activities, facilitating swim tests on the first day of each session, assessing campers’ swimming skills, instructing activities in a safe, fun and educational manner, monitoring waterfront equipment to keep it in working order, and more.
