Golf Attendant

The Golf Pro Shop Attendant position supports and assists the Head Golf Professional, the Golf Pro Shop Manager and Team Lead in all aspects of running the Golf Operations in the Pro Shop on a daily basis. This position plays a pivotal role in displaying strong customer service skills towards our members, guests and the public to provide the best experience possible.

JOB

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Greet all members, guests in a welcoming way and use their name when possible.
• Assist in the control and oversee members and guests play – ensure their check in is seamless, fee collection for non-members in coordination with the Starters
• To be informed on and promote all club services and activities
• Enforce all rule and regulations governing golf course usage
• Assist in overseeing all tournaments and any other member events
• Assist in promoting new memberships, programs and plays
• Assist with Membership Sales
• Assist when needed in supervising the golf services team
• Assist with Season Game Passes Sales
• Assist with all merchandise sales in the Pro Shop
• Answering all incoming calls to the Pro Shop in a friendly and professional manner
• Oversee the Daily Procedure Tracking Sheets
• Good understanding and working knowledge of the Fore Reservations system for tee time reservations
• Maintain a sense of order and cleanliness throughout the Pro Shop at all times
• Check all washrooms throughout the Pro Shop on a regular basis to make sure they are clean and supplied with the necessary items
• Has a general knowledge of all of the resort’s falities and services
• Adheres to all of the Health & Safety policies, procedures and works in a safe manner at all times.
• May perform other duties and functions as assigned based on business levels throughout the resort and organizational changes as directed by the Head Golf Professional and the Golf Pro Shop Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Drivers License an asset with a clean Drivers Abstract
• Adaptable to a busy and fast paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational abilities
• Must be able to maintain department and company standards under variable conditions

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work is performed mainly outdoors and indoors under variable weather conditions
• Must be able to bend, reach, lift at least 30lbs
• Must be able to stand on average of 7 hours per shift
