We are seeking 2 school bus drivers. Work could be at either location.
Start date as soon as possible.
Salary $30.25 / hour. Full time: 30 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Must be able to obtain Class 4 license (which is available to Class 1 drivers with 1 day orientation)
- Experience is an asset
- Criminal record check, Child abuse registry check and Driver's licence
Must be able to:
- Operate school buses to transport passengers
- Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures
- Complete logbooks and reports
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Ensure children's safety when boarding and leaving buses and crossing street while bus is stopped.
Must also be able to sit, distinguish between colours and have hand-eye co-ordination.
