Delivery driver

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving and possess the skills necessary to operate heavy equipment and forklifts as needed. • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
• Ensure accurate delivery of products, verifying orders against delivery manifests
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery area
• Assist with inventory management and proper documentation of deliveries
• Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if required during transit or at the delivery site
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation duties
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred or required based on vehicle type
• Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or freight handling equipment is a plus
• Knowledge of automotive repair or troubleshooting skills is advantageous
• Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate deliveries and documentation
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing schedules
