Operations Specialist

This role is critical in managing relationships with owner-operators, recruiting new carriers, planning loads, and ensuring smooth dispatch operations. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, and the ability to balance operational efficiency with customer satisfaction.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing company drivers and owner-operators.
• Recruit and onboard new drivers and owner-operators to grow capacity and support business expansion.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent service and timely communication.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships to support repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Plan and schedule loads efficiently to maximize profitability and meet customer requirements.
• Act as a dispatcher for drivers and owner-operators, providing clear instructions and support throughout the delivery process.
• Monitor load progress and resolve any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Post-secondary education (preferably Logistics, Business Administration or related field)
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatch operations (trucking industry experience preferred).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
