Step into a crucial full-time role as a Stores Person at Babcock in Winnipeg. Manage inventory for aviation parts and ensure optimal availability for maintenance needs.
This permanent position involves oversight of inventory control processes in an aviation environment, including monitoring stock levels with Win Air software. You will assist in the logistics of receiving, issuing, and transporting essential materials, contributing to the operational readiness of aircraft. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are vital in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Package and ship parts and shop supplies efficiently
• Report safety hazards through the Safety Management System
• Support the Aviation Parts Purchaser as needed
• Participate in training for safety and operational compliance
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
• High school diploma; advanced education is an asset
• 2-3 years' inventory experience in aviation
• Valid class 5 driver’s license
• Knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)
• Familiarity with Win Air and inventory management systems
