Shift: Part Time On call;
Sunday – Friday;
Night shift

Compensation: $0.563 per mile + $27.59 while at customer location

Valid AZ/Class 1 license required. Drive to various locations to deliver and/or pick up product. Move freight between terminal locations. Fill out all required paperwork. Represent Erb Transport professionally and provide the best customer service possible.

• Drive safely in all types of road and weather conditions and temperatures.
• Deliver freight according to schedule and company policy.
• Communicate with dispatch according to department procedures regarding pickups, deliveries, or inquiries.
• Perform a required pre‑trip inspection, ensuring equipment is in safe working order.
• Communicate with shop when maintenance is required.
• Complete all required paperwork according to company policy.
• Comply with all hours of service and any other regulations for all jurisdictions operated in.
• Ensure freight is properly identified and labeled.
• Load and unload product in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Understand the operations of The Erb Group and comply with company regulations.
• Operate the onboard telematics device, including the electronic log and communication system for dispatch.
• Attend Driver Safety meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Minimum 1 year verifiable driving experience on AZ/Class 1 license required.
• Meet the licensing requirements for the specific job opening.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug test and health survey.
• Provide CVOR, driver abstract, and a copy of a driver’s license at time of interview.
• Employment reference check will be completed.
• Criminal record check will be required.
• Wear required PPE (provided by The Erb Group).

• 24/7 operation, with runs departing daily.
• Departure times vary and will be determined by H.O.S. regulations.
• No set end time on any given day; work can extend up to the HOS regulations.
• Drivers can sign up for a bid run when posted if interested, and will be awarded on a seniority basis.
• Drivers not on a bid run are considered Open Board Drivers and are assigned runs as dispatched.

• Slip seating may be required.
• May be required to be gone overnight up to 2 nights.
• Will be required to operate DZ units.
