As a temporary on-call relief mail carrier with Canada Post, you will safely sort, collect, and deliver mail items across various weather and traffic conditions.
Your role commands knowledge of local infrastructure while ensuring items are securely managed. This position involves independent driving and provides a unique interaction with the community, delivering essential services to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sort, collect, and deliver mail items on time
• Maintain knowledge of local roads and customers
• Ensure safe storage and transportation of mail
• Process various Canada Post products and services
• Operate a vehicle under diverse weather conditions
Requirements:
• Valid class 5 or G driver's license
• Satisfactory driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb (22.7 kg)
• Vehicle must meet specified cargo and safety requirements
• Resume and driver’s abstract needed upon selection
