• Salary: $31.00 hourly (44–60 hours per week)
• Terms of employment:
  Permanent, Full time
• Education:
  
  Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience:
  
  1 to less than 7 months

• Plan or adjust routes using GPS or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns and provide professional customer service.
• Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy.
• Inspect vehicle condition, tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspections and oversee all vehicle aspects.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.

• Driver’s License (Class 1 or
  
  A)
• Knowledge of Bill of Lading.
• Knowledge of inspection reports (pre‑trip, en‑route, post‑trip).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Local transportation/travel experience.

• Free parking available.

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada.
• Other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.
