In this position, you will be pivotal in providing rail switching services at customer locations. Emphasizing safety and operational efficiency, you will employ initiative and strong organizational skills to meet company standards. Engage actively in team collaborations while ensuring exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct safe and organized locomotive operations daily
• Apply CROR rules and switching procedures proficiently
• Perform inspection of locomotives and braking systems
• Keep detailed logs and documentation for operations
• Promote Cando’s excellent customer service image
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or GED mandatory
• Previous rail or industrial experience is advantageous
• Must fulfill medical and safety qualifications
• Physical capability for shift duties in various conditions
• Valid Class 5 driver's license a plus
